The base color of Frontgate branding is black and white. For this gift wrap however, it needed a bit of a pop and the best selling ‘resort stripe’ pattern was the answer. Instead of just using a flat black, I took the design from one of Frontgate’s rugs to develop the black on black texture to elevate it and create further interest. The tissue paper uses “we believe” statements to tell the customer who Frontgate is in a way that also creates texture and dimension.
